Every day we have to deal with hot weather. As a result, our body temperature rises and sweats frequently.

Not only body temperature, but hot weather also has an impact on skin health conditions.

If it is not addressed immediately, your skin will experience various problems from acne to premature aging.

Here are some skin problems that are often caused by hot weather and a review of how to fix them.

How To Overcome 7 Skin Problems Caused By Hot Weather

1. Too much sunburn can make you experience sunburn or facial skin burns.

Usually, sunburn is characterized by skin that is red, peeling, and appears sore or painful.

Even though this sunburn is more visible on light skin like the skin of the Caucasoid race, it doesn’t mean that people with brown skin don’t experience it.

One way to prevent this is to use sunscreen with a high SPF content and apply it every hour or two.

2. It is a common problem when hot weather can make your face oilier.

Hot weather can make oil production excess which then makes the face look not fresh. If not cleaned regularly, this condition can cause pimples and blackheads.

Better, wash your face when it starts to get oily and use a moisturizer that is oil control. You can use facial steam with essential oils to control the oil.

3. Not only oily, but hot weather can also make the skin lose moisture and become drier.

Not only makes it dull, but dry skin also causes other facial irritations such as red rashes and wrinkles easily.

Apart from doing double cleansing and exfoliating, you also shouldn’t miss using a moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid, ceramide, and lactic acid.

4. Sun exposure also causes dark spots and hyperpigmentation on facial skin.

Not only sunshine, but this skin problem can also be caused due to excessive use of skincare and squeezing pimples.

You need to use sunscreen to prevent this from happening. Or if you have already, try using skincare made from natural ingredients that can restore facial skin color.

5. The skin will also experience a reddish rash due to hot weather.

This rash is usually caused by prickly heat that occurs when the air is hot. To fix this, you are required to shower twice a day using anti-bacterial soap.

Then use skincare products that have a calming effect such as aloe vera so that the rash subsides. This problem is the final solution, with the previous problems: you must use sunscreen or sunblock!

6. Excessive sweating on the body can cause acne to appear on the back.

The bacterial build-up, dead skin cells, and sweat can get clogged in the pores, which in turn makes the pimples appear.

To clear acne in this area, you need to do an exfoliation or body scrub. You are advised to do it in a salon because this area is difficult to reach with your own hands.

7. Not only acne but sweat on the body can also make fungal acne arise.

Even though it looks the same as acne, it is a different matter. If acne is caused by bacteria, fungal acne is caused by fungus.

The fungus that causes fungal acne can also cause other problems such as eczema, dandruff, and psoriasis.

To prevent this from happening, you must regularly change your clothes when you sweat. Also, take a shower and use body care to prevent this fungus from arising.

Even though it seems trivial, in fact, hot weather can cause some pretty serious problems on your skin!

The good thing is to solve it immediately before this problem causes scars that are difficult to treat again.
